Parking at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER)
Berlin Brandenburg keeps all of its parking on the doorstep of Terminals 1 and 2, from premium garages a minute from the door to cheaper lots a short walk or shuttle away. In total there are more than 10,000 spaces across the numbered car parks, from P1 right up to P107, plus a short-term forecourt for quick drop-offs. Every car park has lifts, marked walking routes and live departure and arrival screens, so you can check your flight before you even leave the car. Choosing where to park
The trade-off at BER is the familiar one: the closer you park, the more you pay. To roll your bags straight into Terminal 1, the premium garages P1 and P2 sit 100 to 200 metres from the door. The comfort car parks P3, P7 and P8 are only a couple of minutes’ walk and cost noticeably less, which makes them the sensible middle choice for most travellers; P7 and P8 also sit right by Terminal 2.
Going away for longer, or just watching the budget? The economy and low-budget lots get cheaper the further out they sit. P107 is the lowest at 24 euro a day, but it lies about 1.7 km from the terminal, so leave time for the walk or transfer bus. Whichever you choose, reserving a space online in advance almost always beats the walk-up rate and guarantees you get in, though you cannot pick an individual bay. Electric cars charge at P3, and anyone with a recognised disability pass parks free for the first hour.
